Solidarity” brand is bad, solidarity is good. But nearly anyone who scores some juice or clout from hustling the “solidarity” brand is not your comrade. If the revolution is monetized and tweeted, it is no revolution at all.

The best brand hustle is working anti-brand, brand X. The best market is some little communal front that disguises a massive exploitative underbelly. “This work is so important you should do it for free!” Yeah ok.
