I stridently oppose the current exploitative circumstances endured by freelance writers, but I don’t see how this bill does anything besides make it harder for those in California to earn a living. What puzzles me about the article itself is that someone says the Good Men Project helps them support their family...but how? It used to pay in sweat equity and transitioned into paying in exposure in 2011 or 2012. Your Tango compensates writers, but not the GMP as far as I know
