You'd likely be paid better. Some of these wages are beyond paltry esp for the markets in which they reside. It seems to be some kind of extended adolescence, subsidized by parents and patreon, in which they pursue the popularity they lacked before the extremely online days
Politics has nothing to do with it beyond typing left-aesthetic word salad. They recognize they get head pats for dunking the right people over and over. Who is still laughing at Ben Shapiro jokes? I've never read a word of his work or even seen him. It's fascinating
