You'd likely be paid better. Some of these wages are beyond paltry esp for the markets in which they reside. It seems to be some kind of extended adolescence, subsidized by parents and patreon, in which they pursue the popularity they lacked before the extremely online days
an entire "vanguard" of "journos" who write the same article over and over, changing their incoherent and case-specific positions so they're always sailing with the clout-winds at their backs. if these people had gunpowder for brains, they couldn't so much as blow their noses
