Right... If they were to cast an actual trans athlete, at least nobody could complain about roles being taken away from a deserving trans actor even if the movie is still trash.

Yes, SOME bases would be covered, at least. The rest of the movie could remain as stupid as before but it might manage a solid Rotten Tomatoes rating
