In a decade nudge-based “centrism” and “smart regulation” is going to be cool again, and that’s when people who switched from radcentrism to radleftism to keep their brands vibrant (Jedidiah Purdy, a king of centrism when I was in law school) will switch back.

I don’t care one way or the other, but this is how history works...the spirit of the now everyone espouses because it’s simply what must be said is always dead and gone, and the people to whom tomorrow belongs are always worse and more cunning than you can possibly imagine
