It is interesting. Once upon a time, it was sufficient to mock the politics of elders via Daily Show clips of people saying dumb stuff and Stewart making a pained face. But I feel this kind of extremely online take-taking is headed for its Daily Show-style reckoning
A fun thing about extremely online politics is how often it dissolves into a series of positions espoused primarily for their viral impact, even when those positions are incoherent or contradictory. Real life politics was little better, but our offline grown-ups had fewer takes
