I want to read much more self-contained, smaller-scope pop culture analysis that focuses on the technical aspects of whatever is under discussion. Endlessly reading "the take to end all takes" is exhausting to everyone except editors invested in getting those clicks

I write abt subjects where I have expertise plus actual experience, and where a market niche exists (it doesn't for law, because scabbing academics will give those op-eds away for free). I try to add some new information or reporting to the mix. My stories aren't Trump referenda
