I remember some friends introducing me to “famous” people in these fields and saying “don’t hit them up for contacts or suck up to them...they hate that.” 1) do they? I think they like being brown nosed. 2) how often is this even happening? These jobs aren’t that great

And hitting people up for contacts? Lol I disclose all my professional contacts and payrates in a single google doc that is available to anyone
