Not having to suck up to other academics or writers to keep selling work is one of my favorite parts of my brand
I remember some friends introducing me to “famous” people in these fields and saying “don’t hit them up for contacts or suck up to them...they hate that.” 1) do they? I think they like being brown nosed. 2) how often is this even happening? These jobs aren’t that great
Writing sentences and pretending to read stuff and repeating the thoughts the beau monde seems thinkable, color me impressed!
And hitting people up for contacts? Lol I disclose all my professional contacts and payrates in a single google doc that is available to anyone
