Went to the recent njpw super J cup finals in Long Beach and in the final match someone got cut open doing a top rope to floor spot. I was kinda digging the match but once that happened it went super crazy and ended up being a 5 star match imo. But blading sucks.
It is a strange practice, even if part of the history and tradition of the sport

Yeah I think it might’ve made sense for the time period being it was much more of the Wild West. Just like headshots with chairs I just cringe when it happens now.
