I mean...the town where my high school is had 950 residents when I attended; maybe 9,000 ppl in the whole county. The tiny crossroads community where I lived w/ my grandma had maybe 150 ppl. THAT’s “small,” not this five-figure major suburb shit

Yes, from west central Georgia, very rural. It’s been ages since I’ve been through Edenton or Roper; used to drive a lot through the Carolinas to visit my dad at his various construction jobs.

there was growth up in those two cities in the 70s and 80s related to expansion of the lumber industry. also that's where my dad's car dealership was
