Some folks didn't have to drive 40 minutes to buy a book other than Goosebumps at the local Giant and it shows.
i didn't see a real magazine selection until I got to Powell's on a trip to see my Ralph Nader-supporting aunt...I had to go online to read Bookforum...the local Barnes & Noble only had a dozen or so Criterion Collection DVDs...it's a wonder I made it out alive
