I wonder how widespread media consumption affecting public opinion is? With a federal election coming up in the Fall, that's something to watch, particularly since our national broadcaster receives substantial funding from the sitting government

Thus if you experience news media this way, you tend to think whatever is being highlighted in the moment is weirdly ubiquitous...she does this with everything, like arguing there were more seniors in the US when the Golden Girls aired, etc.
