yeah, her consumption of media influences her opinions about such things. during the height of the caitlyn jenner era she believed there were more trans than lgb folks in the USA, and in any case thought those population estimates were way, way higher than they actually are
i suppose it says something about CNN and People and how these inescapable "mono-stories" can become stand-ins for everything else
