Yeah, it’s not like you’re dragging it up against your legs but trying to stay perfectly within it. I see high school and college football players using trap bars online a lot. Easier on lower back, less risk of bicep tears too, I suppose.

the low can lead to a bad back tweak at about the midpoint if you're not being very careful, but the high handles are extremely safe and let you focus on yanking the bar off with your lats super tight and practicing driving the hips through on the deadlift
