yes, exactly. but i think celebrities these days are accorded much more rope when arrogating certain identities. i think this only further squeezes people for whom the process of this identification is much more fraught.

Even people with a certain amount of power can face bigotry. One of the most persistent bigotries bi people face is questioning of their identities.
