this is why I started making "ProfSlacks" which feature a separate, outer fly, in order to cover the unseemly, unzipped inner fly.
double pleat, double fly...probably want to reinforce with buttons and velcro too

the "bell" on the profslacks bottom is actually formed at the waist, from the pleats, rather than due to radical flaring on the legs...the result is a kind of "pear" or "upside down muffin top" effect
