Whenever I tell people I read a book, I feel compelled to hold up a sign that reads: *I actually listened to the audiobook, but that doesn't sound as smart.

Yeah, I go in and out, and I read for work, but I can't really trust the idea that anyone has read enough books (200 I'd say) to produce a "10 books of the year" that isn't influenced by PR spin
