It does add an inch or so off the floor but my inseam adds 34 inches and @normhotchkiss will certainly appreciate my respect for the house's foundation. @EnduringLearner and @DoubleZepp will appreciate that some "kid" is "doing the work"

Interesting. Haven’t tried them but I never want to have to “aim” too much when lowering. Doesn’t sound like it’s a problem.

Yeah, they’ll tap the pads and fall into place. Each one of those things weighs like 40 lbs. sturdy product.
