Writing a mass-market book or some other creative thing seems about as worthwhile as really juicing up to bench 550-600 pounds...at the end of the day, I’d get maybe a few more polite nods and “bless your hearts” but my bottom line wouldn’t increase enough to make it worthwhile

Both goals wld be w/in reach if I were willing to make the requisite sacrifices but the gain doesn’t justify the pain. bench is a good example — for years I’ve benched in the same 385-405 range and all I really do is increase the length of the pause on the chest/some other tweak

How many is that in a year, roughly?

48-96, I guess. You can see the output on my website. Factor in a dozen or so ghostwritten pieces a year and a full-time job and I stay pretty busy
