I think we truly value "student feedback" far too much. Including "all students" in the conversation means pandering to the loudest. You'll never be truly "inclusive." We shouldn't, as people, always get what we WANT. It's about what we need, and what society needs from us

It’s what they wanted, a diploma is meaningless anyways as any kind of metric for intelligence or being a better person in some way.

Yes, I wanted to treat this rotten system like the neoliberal garbage it is. I did give interesting lectures, but I never told fellow academics the lectures were any good because they all thought the lecture was dead since most sucked at them

Those that want to learn will normally actually try to but most are just there for the Experience and the piece of paper. They don’t care about actually getting anything intellectually out of it
