I don't care about the actual temperatures but hvac helped urbanize and "grow" the south among other things, as you well know
big hvac has paid me way more money in two years than academia did in nine

you couldn't pay me to live in Pensacola but I can tell you that we pay the hvac tech there way more than enough for him to justify living there and keeping offices at appropriate temperatures
