I kinda banned myself by giving every student I ever taught an A over the course of four straight years, then buried the institution in a quit lit essay

I wanted to see how the pretend libs would handle it when I implemented a state of total equality. People were mad about my teaching in tank tops, telling folks “Dr Bateman was my father,” and refusing to wear academic regalia to graduation (I wore a shirt reading “burn it down”)

I remember catching flack for refusing to use my various titles because I had enough “privilege” to deny all my privilege, whereas others needed to be respected as “doctors” and so on
