This stuff surely works mischief on the mind, as when one thinks the predictions have already happened, or takes rumors or "feelings" as stories (so-and-so is "bad" on some issue despite a lack of evidence, this writer who writes about one thing hates all other things, etc.)

They’re usually not educated, especially those who make predictions on the five daily political polls.

He was elected because some are purely selfish, some are racist/sexist, some are desperate for chaos & uncertainty. Meanwhile, other 60% of us want certainty predictability, progress. Political moment tends toward chaos for many reasons, which is why we get all the predictions.
