That said, god save the fucker that bullies my kids.
All bullying is bad, but it seems impossible not to bully (beyond the obvious physical/name calling stuff). A friend said his well meaning parents bullied him with their niceness and competence

Because they always seemed to do everything right, and were never upset when he came up short, he felt they were condescending and cursed with superiority complexes

There's definitely a generational aspect to it, as well as an individual one. My case is sort of unique, I'm fucking huge (6'9") and my parents were devout Catholics, and I was extremely gullible and self righteous.
