is it intended as a nod at centuries of hate and oppression? because if so i can't see a brand doing that for, say, an ethnic group, because that would be considered very disturbing/problematic ("don't hate me because i'm #beautifuljewish" might anger people)

either way, the politics and personalities of the brands, such as they are, represent the future of this world. it's a brand world; we're just lesser brands living in it
