Win or lose, but almost always 2-1 and in the most boring fashion imaginable. The same logic can be applied to powerlifting, playing heavily defensive but improvised styles in video games, and writing. Just wait it all out, make minor adjustments, and plan for the long haul

Yeah, he's right, though he was also almost always close to being the best wrestler, even when injured, so he had it all. Rulon Gardner going over Alexander Karelin in 2000 and ex Bellator heavyweight Cole Konrad are true testaments to the power of plodding mediocrity
