      The real damage being done by the Trump administration is revealing to me how many people thought politics was anything other back-room sausage grinding...obviously @DrLocoFoco and I need to double down on the “no president is a good president” (all readings work here) message

      If Trump came out against water boarding, I’m reasonably confident that center-liberal academia would begin marshaling its considerable might to write 5000 word articles about why reasonable, pragmatic water boarding might be ok
