By conveying some kind of inherent stamp to their body success — marked from birth to be a beefcake — regular folks fail to realize how far careful steroid cycling could take them. It’s a shame

And “genetic freak,” even if intended as “his genetics help him tolerate steroids better than anyone else,” is a weird kind of kayfabe that takes work and effort out of the equation...proper drug use and exercise = hard work, and most humans can get very strong that way

You can overcome some early-life disadvantages with excellent PEDs and a tremendous work ethic. That alone will carry you pretty far. But saying someone’s marked from birth to crush standardized tests or hit baseballs is a bit odd. Human agency gets taken out of the equation

I'm always curious about which guys get huge by chemical, but within the testing rules of their sport vs guys who just cheat every way they can and either beat the system or get the wink.
