I got flashbacks to the weird window/shade engineering my dad would do to maximize warm/cool air potential depending on season (we had no AC and old windows)
My dad would cut the ac at 6am each day and if pressed as to why, he would say "the air man giveth and the air man taketh away"
That’s perfect. My dad kept the thermostat so cold in winter that all my friends wouldn’t take off their jackets and scarves if they came over. He said it wasted energy if the heat came on before he got home
