i remember the vintage nerd tribes of the 90s, when it seemed every group had a "strong nerd" (had lifted weights once), the "hot one" (wasn't incel / went on "dates"), the "sports nerd" (a kind of walking sports encyclopedia), the "sci fi / fantasy nerd" (the same but for SF/F)
