Most of my friends are atheists, so I haven't been saying anything about my opinions on faith to them. One of them said that they found faith very dangerous. The mere definition of faith being believing things without/despite evidence, which means you create your own reality

To me, as a former atheist, I don't thing Evidence and Reason are the things we should be basing all of our choices on. And in fact, we never do. Love and connection being two of the biggest non-evidential things we believe in. It seems a sad and lonely life without any of that.
