Been there, several times, and have been chastised for being supportive of an important cause while not adequately expressing my support within the accepted lexicon of the detailed context of expected support, within 280 characters. I'm so over Twitter advocacy... all infighting.
Some of it is akin to when I tell the dentist that I floss twice a day and she tells me I need to floss three times a day

There’s also a weird thing that happens when people are like “if you published an article about X, you must not care about all the other letters”. No, folks, it just takes a decent amount of time to write even one article

And in my case a lot of my production happens because I’m addressing X due to the fact that it is both interesting to me and pays more than Y, OR I want to stay out of the lane of people who should handle Y
