i'm sad that grumpy cat has passed but that's a story too many extremely online writers will be rushing to sell so even if i have something to say about it, i won't. that's why you've yet to see, say, a dril story from me. too easy. you can just look at the tweets
there's a whole host of stories that come out just because they're easy to write, like those alt-right narratives that polluted digital media from 2015 to 2018 (and I say this as someone who sold a few of the first ones, simply because at the outset they were hard to sell)
but if an obscure wrestler or fitness person dies, well, there's a story i'll be doing, because that allows me to stay in my lane while delivering good, feature-rate value
