these days it's the editors who slide into my DMs, looking for some quick, toothless, thumbsucking versions of the better content I publish elsewhere (usually offering less money too)

Ain't gonna be writing those trend pieces but it's nice to know I'm a competent writer on the "writing down low" despite lacking influence and reach / not living in one of the Real Cities / having an abrasive, anti-brand online persona
