As long as "writing for the internet" means "2k in side money," my desire to sell and publish a book remains low because I don't hang out with people who give a crap about that

I think you could write a really cool book, but would anyone other than us over-educated meatheads buy it? Kind of a small market segment. Not really Oprah Book Club material.
It's growing but still far from "yuge." People might learn a thing or two from YouTube, but reading a full book, even a short one? It's a smaller number. I reach more meatheads with the articles
