You don't know who I am because I don't write hot takes or wade into social media feuds, but the editors I'm constantly turning down know who I am. Having a day job + three editors at three pubs who know how to edit my work (they make the edits they need) = fantastic
Aside from the people reading me to scoop the coverage I do -- I'm looking at you, other men's magazines -- or the other freelancers who ask for my connections while keeping me out of cite, I'm largely unknown, but being unknown and paid to do good work is wonderful!
