do you think there will be a youth reaction against these parenting methods?
I wish I thought it would lead to rebellion. My fear is that the more sheltered kids are the more open they are to certain kinds of authoritarianism, where fitting in and following the rules is prized above all else.
soft, peaceful authoritarianism ... polite ... very tolerant
