Bc it's Mel and not some bland legacy publication that churns out thumbsucking trend pieces, I can take an impressionistic approach ... there's no need for one sentence from ex WSM Brian Shaw (I've met him before, nice guy) when I can present someone like Liefia as the expert
In other words, there is much more freedom to include diverse voices and shape the narrative in the service of compelling content vs the product-pimping "trend piece"
