It really is. He so fit the archetype of what a wrestler should be that it seemed like he had always been around. When I heard he died I was shocked he was only 61. Had no idea he was so young at the peak of his career.
that's exactly it! that's THE conclusion that has to be reached about his surprisingly short career

i assumed he guest starred on tons and tons of tv shows too, and yet he wasn't on much (vader was on more prominent shows, somehow) ... but he "inspired" the naming of the other, more famous bundys
