Several old friendships of mine have ended largely because I wasn't good for their brands ... the optics were all wrong

If your old friends become lifestyle influencing millennial brands who only discuss certain topics in the "online" space and your own presence in that space doesn't enhance their brand, you can expect to never hear from them again

They're lost to the NYC media brand verse, which is really just a bunch of media brands with followings smaller than a low-level YouTuber logrolling each other's pandering, on-the-button tweets for some reason
