I made okay money writing a response to deBoer once, and though I've yet to read a Singal piece, I would respond to one for $200 and up. I wonder how much money has been made selling response pieces to their takes. Do they constitute some kind of mini-takeconomy?

If you're pulling in, let's say, $1000 a year from straight-up deBoer responses, you surely must be ambivalent in your feelings regarding him since he has become part of your livelihood. This is why I stopped writing about Trump, the alt-right, et al. many years ago
