the bigger the Twitter person's "brand" gets, the worse/more pandering their opinions get, until they're eventually just spouting heaps of advertising buzzwords divorced from any meaning at all

You've noted before that that's how many people like to communicate. Just nodding along and "liking" agreeable, recognizable strings of words. "Tweet tweet tweeting away with nary a thought great or small to essay..."
