the bigger the Twitter person's "brand" gets, the worse/more pandering their opinions get, until they're eventually just spouting heaps of advertising buzzwords divorced from any meaning at all

I've watched a few of these "brands" blow up over the years, and pretty soon they're toeing some cautious Twitter party line so toothless it would make a presidential candidate blush

Occasionally, they'll share a "thought out of season" or an "untimely meditation," but they'll quickly walk it back by hiding it amid a flood of conventional wisdom
