maybe the social media - real life split will seem less dramatic as the actual kids of today come of age, but knowing these people and then witnessing their brand behaviors (which usually keep rival brands out of cite) is really something

i've actually spent whole days with notable "media millennials," and they'll be firing off tweets one after the other about thoughts/feelings related to said day, and these have nothing to do with the experience of being around another human

i walked out of a movie with a "media millennial" once, and that person said the movie was "okay," then "blasted out" a bunch of tweets about how good the movie was, because it apparently hit some Rotten Tomatoes/critical aggregation sweet spot and it was necessary to Like It
