The left will always be more damaged by its legions of highly visible grifters than the right is by theirs, because a) the financial scraps they're competing for on the left are much smaller and b) most right-wing grifters don't deny they're in it for the money

I often remember the reason I'm resistant to appeals for a radical cause isn't because the cause is wrong (it is usually right) but because I have little desire to see its obnoxious spokespeople enriched at the expense of the poor and the weak for whom they purport to speak
