have the "hygge vs marie kondo minimalism" hot take wars started yet? if so, are some hot takers attempting to "split the difference" to reach a compromise position (e.g., "cozy minimalism")?

these kind of hot take wars are awesome to participate in provided you can land a $50-$150 commission to write them, because they require zero knowledge of either subject (but an opinion, oh yes, an opinion!) + 45 mins of spare time. 50 bucks for 45 mins work ain't a bad rate

my thinking on takes is that as long as the market is buying them (but usually paying these piddling fees), you can just fart out some little thumbsucker in 30-45 mins, often merely by changing words or phrases in prior takes you've written

a good "take kid" always has a 100-word paragraph "in the can," which can be as simple as saving tweets that do well when you're tearing in to the target du jour (usually some sweet but dopey old leftist who did a boneheaded thing and must now be broken on the tweet-rack)

Replying to @MoustacheClubUS
Anyone who mistakes Barabara Ehrenreich for a sweet but dopey old leftist does so at their peril.

Pay me $50-plus and I will mistake no one for anything but a sworn foe, though I hope we all still vote the same way in Nov
