Nice piece! I liked how it seems to be about the most trivial of topics, but scales up to bigger things. I was also way jealous of this line -- “You’ve seen the crew,” he told me. “It’s about 30 people on this yacht, and they’re Greek and serious as a heart attack."
yeah, Greek (as in from the Balkans) or Russian (i.e., from the former USSR) is the big question for all yacht owners when it comes to staffing one of these
