"The cast and crew of Into the Motherlands recognizes that many are using September 1st as #ADayOffTwitch to push for change on the platform in response to incessant & harmful hate raids.
Although we are unable to participate in this movement ourselves due to contractual obligations. We support those using this day to call attention to the issues faced by many creators, especially Black, POC,LGBTQIA2+, non-gender conforming, agender,
con't - non-binary, femme, neurodivergent & other creators of marginalized identities.
We call on Twitch to listen to those raising their voices at this time through #TwitchDoBetter and to make this space safe & equitable for all creators."
